Learning platform for education and training for emergency paramedics in Brandenburg
(Based on the action algorithms for the emergency paramedic Land Brandenburg Version 1.4 from 01.03.2019)

In this small app, there is an overview of all, according to the SOPs approved in the state of Brandenburg drugs that can be used by an emergency paramedic in the state of Brandenburg.

All medications are presented with dosage, contraindications, side effects and mechanisms of action, according to the content of the current SOP.

In the section "Scoring" there is an overview of common scoring systems, like e.g. the Glasgow Coma Scale, the SAMPLER or APGAR scheme, or even the stages of hypothermia.

There is also a short overview of the ECG, as well as some pathological ECG forms.

The area "emergency medical techniques" provides i.a. electrotherapy, thoracic relief, NIV CPAP ventilation or alternative access techniques.

In the topic "Infos" there is an overview of age-adapted children's values. Likewise an overview over legal bases. Also, the axes of the human body are named and there is a glossary of the most important terms.
An overview of infectious diseases, including the corresponding protective and disinfection measures, can also be found there.

In order to keep the app interesting and helpful, we would be pleased to receive suggestions on the future content.

technical:
The app works as an offline app and can therefore be used without an existing Internet connection. Only the additional information leaflets accompanying the medication or specially marked information require an internet connection.

The file size of the app is currently less than 40 MB. It is possible to move the app within the device to an existing memory card.

Monthly updates will always keep the timeliness of the app up to date.

If the app does not work as desired after an update, then in the mobile phone under "Settings" -> "App" or "Memory" select the app and clear the cache of the app. Incorrectly stored cache data can lead to a malfunction of the app.
