God speaks to us in many diverse ways. It does so through nature, events and our consciousness. But His Word comes to us through the Bible, or in texts such as those that we present in this beautiful application. "Word of God", we are told after proclaiming the texts of the Bible in liturgical celebrations. And so we must listen and read, "for what they really are: the word of God, acting on those who believe," according to another statement of St. Paul. Only those texts have God as principal author.
