Bangabandhu is not only the leader of the movement in the streets of Awami League. He is also a symbol of the peaceful implementation of the non-cooperation movement on behalf of the party. However, there are fundamental differences between the non-cooperation movement of Mahatma Gandhi and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Gandhiji was adamant about keeping the independence movement peaceful. But Bangabandhu did not hesitate to hold the war statue if necessary. He was in favor of armed struggle like Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, but has successfully implemented peaceful non-cooperation in need of strategy. Bangabandhu and his party Awami League believed in the involvement of the masses, believed in public opinion, and did politics with it at its center.
