Application for the calculations necessary for controlling the sugar extraction process from beet. It allows the calculation of diffusion losses, draft and microbial losses in the diffusion step. In the juice purification stage, we can calculate the lime requirements, the nonsugar eliminationt as well as the juice purification losses. For the evaporation step, the amount of water evaporated can be calculated, as well as the re-coloring of the juice. For the crystallization step, we can calculate the characteristics of a given massecuite, of a given mother liquor as well as the supersaturation coefficient of a sugar solution. Finally, we can calculate the sugar balance of a sugar factory based on the quality of the beet and its technical performance.
