EatHealthy helps you scan food and cosmetic additives in products, classifying them by characteristics and potential contraindications. Our app provides a clear analysis of food additives such as preservatives, natural and synthetic colors, emulsifiers, and their safety. You will be able to discover useful information on harmful additives, those that are prohibited or those suitable for children, as well as understanding what additives are and how to read food labels.
For cosmetics, EatHealthy analyzes ingredients such as parabens, silicones, PEGs, cosmetic emulsifiers, surfactants and cosmetic colorants, indicating their safety and the presence of any allergens or fragrances. You will find information on products without preservatives, natural ingredients, and on the composition of cosmetics that are respectful of your skin.
Additionally, our app identifies the source of fish using FAO codes, allowing you to explore FAO fishing areas, such as FAO 37 Mediterranean and FAO 27 North-East Atlantic, and discover sustainable fishing practices. We guide you in the traceability of the fish, through the FAO areas of origin and advice on how to read the FAO fish labelling.
EatHealthy also offers information on bioengineered foods and GMOs, explaining the differences between the two categories. You will be able to better understand food bioengineering, its advantages and its safety. Furthermore, we detect the presence of unconventional ingredients such as cricket flour or other insects authorized by the EU.
Our database, constantly updated, includes a ranking of food and cosmetic additives, with evaluations that take into account international regulations and food bioengineering standards. Remember that all ratings are indicative and do not replace the opinion of a professional.
