SPETRI-DOC MY EARS is an application with innovative assistive technology that makes it easier for deaf/hard of hearing friends to understand daily conversations around them or conversations with someone and is a recording tool in the form of text or writing.
This application converts/changes voice/speech into text in real time. Text will appear on the phone screen as the word is spoken. Transcribe allows the speaker not to bring up unwanted conversations through the play/pause feature in the application, then the text will be converted into Portable Document Format (PDF) or Word Document (DOCX) which can be studied at a later date.
SPETRI-DOC MY EARS is a series of development of Inclusive Student Learning Applications (BELMASIF) and is the result of a grant from the 2023 First Year Independent Campus Budget Competition Program obtained by the Special Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, PGRI Argopuro Jember University (UNIPAR), a university private universities that support inclusive and disability-friendly campus programs. In this program, the PKKM PLB FKIP UNIPAR TEAM collaborates with partners, namely PT Multi Center Indonesia.
