MEMap is designed to help people with ME or CFS plan their recovery with great clarity and creativity. Users opt in to whichever areas feel right of the anecdotal wisdom about successful approaches to recovery reported by people who have achieved good progress. They can also listen to audio guides which offer relaxation, visualisation and other tools modelled on the steps taken by people with ME or CFS who have made tremendous leaps forward. The central concept is for users to create 2 maps. One which captures the wellness they want, their peak wisdoms about their health and life, and quick cues about what is effective for keeping the day as ok as possible. A second map is designed to break the barriers to that wellness down into manageable chunks. So that stressors, symptoms and other issues can be tackled one at a time. Audio and other guidance help develop strategies for each chunk. So that each individual's App comes to contain the 'best snapshot so far' of what works for them - their 'ME Map', or 'me Map'.
