Originally from Chicago, Chef Affy brought his expertise to Canada, opening the first Affy’s Premium Grill in Pickering, Ontario in 2008.
The restaurant quickly became a favourite destination for Toronto food lovers - especially those seeking high-quality Halal steaks and premium grilled cuisine. Due to overwhelming demand, the original location expanded to triple its seating capacity, setting the stage for future growth.

Our Story - The Journey of Affy’s Premium Grill
Following the success of Pickering, Chef Affy expanded to Mississauga in 2012, followed by a highly anticipated location in Brooklyn, New York in 2015, bringing his premium Halal steakhouse concept stateside. In 2017, Affy returned to Ontario to open his final location in Scarborough, further cementing the brand’s reputation for excellence.
