PPST takes the form of workshops, courses, seminars, competitions and culminates in an annual carnival. The target group of PPST participants consists of school/IPTA/IPTS students, the poor, teachers, lecturers, imams, halaqat officials and government and private officials and employees as well as the general public.

The PPST Management System (e-PPST) was developed specifically for PPST program management and now e-PPST is complemented with the development of the KelGov PPST smartphone application.
