1. Application for Permission to Marry

All marriage authorization and registration matters in Malaysia must follow the Acts/Enactments/Ordinances of the Islamic Family Law in each state. This is to ensure that the marriage follows the process and procedure that has been established based on Shariah law.

The Marriage Permit application provided through SPPIM only covers 9 states namely Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Perlis, Kedah, Perak, Federal Territory, Johor, Selangor and Terengganu.

2. Pre-Marriage Course Application
Pre-Marriage Course registration online is a JAKIM initiative in collaboration with the Islamic Religious Department of the states which aims to provide facilities to couples who want to get married to register for Pre-Marriage Courses.

Applicants can check the course schedule based on date, time and place as well as course vacancy information to register.


3. Application for Advisory Services

This online advisory service is provided to enable applicants to get an appointment for a face-to-face negotiation session with a negotiation officer, State Islamic Religious Department and District Islamic Religious Office.

The Online Advice Service application currently only covers Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Perlis, Kedah, Perak, Terengganu, Johor, Selangor and the Federal Territories (Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Labuan).
