The Emma Salud App aims to provide verified information and support to
cancer patient. Emma Salud allows users to enjoy a complete activity schedule on the mobile phone and its updated self-care plan at all times, also facilitating communication between the patient and healthcare professionals through a secure and private environment.
The main features offered by Emma Salud are:
SCHEDULE. In daily and monthly format, it warns of scheduled tasks and allows you to consult and record your activity (taking medications, check-ups, appointments, etc.).
TREATMENT: Emma Salud has a powerful help tool to manage your pharmacological treatment, allowing you to plan and validate the taking of drugs at all times. From the application you can also add other drugs and treatments.
Contains information, photographs, leaflets and recommendations on treatment
pharmacological, as well as precautions to take and information on possible interactions.
SELF-CONTROL. This module allows the patient to periodically check the main monitoring variables, such as diet, diet, weight, exercise, etc. It also includes records of questionnaires prescribed remotely by the medical team. The patient will be able to register symptoms or decompensations and the application will guide and inform them about more appropriate recommendations or actions. Emma Salud will be able to integrate with telemetry devices through a Bluetooth connection for the automatic recording of variables such as weight or exercise.
COMMUNICATIONS. The patient and professional have a powerful internal message module to improve two-way communication for remote monitoring and follow-up.
All personal information entered into the application is registered in a space called "personal folder", housed in highly secure servers as required by the Data Processing Law. This information will only be accessible via mobile and web both by the user (patient) and by their professional or authorized doctor. This folder allows professionals to assess the evolution of the patient over time and to follow up and monitor users remotely.
