World Stocks Screener brings no-nonsense tools to people around the world to easily screen and track stocks and ETFs, using a broad range of technical indicators.
> The app covers more than 100,000 stocks and ETFs trading on over 60 major world stock exchanges, the symbols can be found on Yahoo Finance.
> Key features include Watchlist (with Chart), Screener, Community (with Comment) and Bookmark, some sample data is provided for each feature for you to start by learning from examples.
> Full watchlists can be quickly created using space separated stock symbols, for example, "ABUS ADSK AEL ALA.TO ALL AMK ATEN AX-UN.TO AYR BHF BLL CERS CIB CNO". From a watchlist you can drill down to the chart view by tapping symbol/price, where you can examine daily/weekly/monthly chart of the stock and customize your chart settings with 30+ indicators; or go to the Yahoo Finance page for the stock by tapping the company name.
> Our advanced charting engine can display the full set of indicators used in screeners, and the comprehensive multi-panel chart is not limited to the screen size like other charting apps. You can scroll the chart horizontally to see the values at different time, scroll vertically to see different indicator panels, and zoom in and out with pinch gesture; tapping in the chart will bring you the highlighted view of all indicator values at that point.
> Screeners can be created using simple syntax and common technical indicators with parameters, as well as 80+ candlestick patterns. For example, "weekly MACD Histogram(5,34,7) is below weekly MACD Histogram(5,34,7) 1 week ago and Bullish Harami Cross has formed within the last 3 days". Every day after market close (time depending on the region), the server will download updated stock prices data, run the screeners and send the matching symbols to your mailbox. The latest screener result can also be viewed in the app, and tapping any symbol in the result will bring up a simple chart view where you can go over the charts quickly. Screeners can be kept private, shared with the public or followers in the community.
> Community contains an overview of your own and all public screeners, as well as the screeners belonging to the authors you follow and shared with followers. You can follow/unfollow an author, and comment on any screener you see in the community, so it is also a forum for like-minded people to discuss about the screeners, you may find good ideas there to improve yours.
> As a serious investor/trader, you may have some specific web pages to visit regularly in order to gauge the situation affecting your stocks, just use the simple and neat Bookmark tool to do it within the app.
> It may take some time to learn to write screener expressions with the proper screener syntax, technical indicators and candlestick patterns, but they are really not complicated for anyone who uses technical analysis, and the benefit could be tremendous once you defined screeners matching some specific patterns you like, the app might find a few candidates from perhaps thousands of stocks for you every day, and you would no longer have regrets about missing opportunities because of no time or condition to go through so many charts manually. It's well worth the effort!
