The Beautiful Names of Allah Application
This application offers a faith-based and cognitive experience, aiming to introduce the reader to the Beautiful Names of Allah and their meanings, using a visual and cognitive style that combines the beauty of Arabic calligraphy with Islamic knowledge.
The application displays the Beautiful Names of Allah written in Thuluth script, with a brief explanation of each name, and citations from Quranic verses and Prophetic hadiths, making it easier for the user to contemplate, understand, and memorize. This is inspired by Surah Al-A'raf, verse 180, which says: “To Allah belong the best names, so invoke Him by them.”
Sahih Ibn Hibban was adopted in presenting and arranging the names mentioned in the noble hadith narrated on the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), numbered 808. The hadith was also mentioned in Sunan al-Tirmidhi, numbered 3507, with slight differences. It was also narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim in an abbreviated form, without listing the names. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah has ninety-nine names, one hundred less one. He is odd and loves odd numbers. Whoever counts them will enter Paradise."
