Most people are told, "Dietary management is very important for maintaining good health," but they find it difficult to make it a habit.
My father is one of them.
During this year's physical examination, my father was strongly advised by the doctor to improve his diet.
However, he has no intention of changing his eating habits when he eats out and continues to eat what he likes.
This application was created after receiving advice from a mother who was concerned about her father's unwillingness to improve his eating habits.
First of all, in developing this app, my primary focus was on getting my father to make a habit of keeping a record of what he has been eating for the past week or month.
Therefore, I was focused on making the process of recording a single meal simpler.
Just before eating, tap the "Camera" icon to take a picture and select "Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, or Other" to complete the meal record for one meal.
In addition, if you register as a member using the "QR code" in the application, you can view your member's meal records from the "friend" icon.
I have additionally incorporated a "scoring" and "comment" function that members can use to motivate each other to keep track of their meals.
Scores for the "Scoring" function are designed to automatically add the average of the totaled scores to the calendar.
(Scores in the "Scoring" function are not necessarily medically based, so please use the "Scoring" function only to motivate yourself.)
Finally, the father requested that I make a day when he could eat whatever he wanted because it was hard for him to continue every day.
We decided that sometimes you need to take a break in order to continue managing your diet.
Therefore, we made it possible to set a maximum of two days per week (you cannot choose two days in a row) on which you can eat whatever you want from the Edit Profile screen.
On days when you are allowed to eat whatever you want, the calendar does not show the score.
I will periodically improve functionality and correct errors.
I hope this app will be used by those who want to make a habit of recording their meals as an introduction to improving their eating habits.
