Kanan Safe Driver is a life-saving tool designed specifically for driving teens who are often susceptible to many kinds of distractions. It can also be used by employers to decrease liability and increase the likelihood that the drivers they employ are driving safely.

The Kanan Safe Driver app disables all cell phone notifications (sound & screen) while the vehicle is in motion, thus preventing phone-related distractions and reducing the chances of a fatal accident.

The app detects when the user is in motion and disables the phone's functions when the user reaches a speed of 5 mph. Normal phone functionality is restored when the vehicle is at a complete stop.

No notifications while in motion means no phone-related reasons to take your eyes off the road.

Installation:

On Administrator Smartphone:

Create an account with the email address which will receive the notifications (should be an active e-mail)
Create a password (easy to remember)

On user Smartphone (teen or employee):

Log in with the administrator account email
Add a user name for the registered device. (it will appear on administrator's cell phone control panel)
