In 2019, it was made into a TV animation by ufotable production, and the first period "Tanjiro Kamado Ritsushi Hen" that draws the beginning of the story was broadcast.

In 2020, the theatrical animation "Infinite Train Edition", which depicts the middle part of the story, was released. The box office revenue of this work in Japan reached 40.32 billion yen, making it the number one box office revenue in Japan. From December 2021, the second season of TV animation "Yukaku Hen", which is the sequel to the movie version, is being broadcast.
