Law No. 89 of 1998 regarding the tenders and auctions

Law is very important for everyone working in the Egyptian market and the government in particular.
Should read it carefully and always keep it for reference when needed.

Article I of the Act:
Be contracted to buy portables, or the Contracting business or transportation, or to receive services and consultancy studies and works of art, through public tenders or general practices and issues by following any of the routes the decision of the competent authority in accordance with the conditions and the nature of the contract and with it may be exception, and reasoned decision of the competent authority, contracting in the following ways
A - Limited Tender
B - Tender local
C - Practice Ltd.
D - direct agreement
And shall not in any case the tender to transform the practice of general or limited exercise
And in all cases are contracted in the border and according to the conditions and the rules and procedures set forth by this law and its executive regulations
