In 1966, Cesare Ganozzi, after many years of sharecropping, eager to cultivate his own land, decided to purchase the Sant'Ulivieri farm.

The property, a convent since 1000 AD, took its name from Saint Oliviero, the leader of Charlemagne who, while traveling the Via Francigena, sought refuge there from the Franciscan friars in need of treatment.

Over time, the estate passed through owners outside of the ecclesiastical sphere, until it became a restored residence today, welcoming guests from around the world, as well as a farm carefully managed by Remo Ganozzi and his family.

Sant'Ulivieri is a young and dynamic farm that produces high-quality grains and vegetables, as well as offering a distinctive agritourism experience.

Our land, expertly cultivated with tradition and eco-sustainability, along with innovation and constant research, offers tasty and authentic products, such as ancient grains, legumes, sunflowers, seasonal vegetables, extra virgin olive oil, and wine.

From our freshest fruits and vegetables, we also produce delicious compotes, pickled vegetables, and sweet and sour vegetables. These delicacies, in addition to being sold retail at our farm shop, are the raw materials for the typical dishes offered to guests by the farm's restaurant.
