🔦 FLASHLIGHT WITH STROBE MODE
Multi-purpose bright torch and light signaling functions:
- uses the LED camera flashlights
- supports back and front camera, if available on the device and equipped with flashes
- provides 2 light modes – constant and pulse. In constant mode you can turn off the screen or use another app. Pulse is for sending signals – Morse code anyone?
- strobe light available on constant mode - intervals: 0.1 - 0.9 sec and 1.0 - 10 sec.

⚡ FLASHLIGHT WIDGET
Instantly make light, without starting the app – add the on/off button to your home screen as a widget.
- Settings screen contains a button to quickly pin the button widget on the home screen.
- on devices with OS version before Oreo you will need to manually add the widget.

🧭 COMPASS AND LEVEL
A set of orientation sensors provide real-time 3-directional orientation information. This feeds the compass and longitudinal/transverse “bubble” level, featuring:
- gravity and magnetic accuracy indicators - wave phone to calibrate until both turn green, affects both compass and level
- power saving: turned off when this screen is not visible
- 2 axis level, relative to device's flat position, longitudinal (left) and transverse (right)
- magnetic sensors differ between devices and are readings are affected when close to large iron objects or electrical equipment

📡 GPS LOCATION
Location information is gathered from different providers like GPS satellites and Wi-Fi hotspots. - location availability indicator - location/GPS icon. If red - turn on device comms
- extra info shown: accuracy, altitude, source, timestamp
- power saving: turned off when this screen is not visible

Personalize TacLight for preference or power saving:
- select camo background – provided are contemporary US military designs
- adjust background and controls brightness to save power - background can go full black for maximal saving
- hide labels for cleaner interface
- turn off screen rotation for TacLight – always keeping it in portrait mode helps while actively using it like outdoors
