Usually if a user is interested in some news online, he has to type in the keywords in search engines and then pick and choose the articles as they appear in the search engine. The search is not restricted to particular newspapers or TV portals and it becomes very tedious for the user to keep a track of the thread of the news which have been published or aired in the newspapers or TV portals.

News Probe is an application developed on Android platform by Fiabilte Network Solutions for letting the users view and read the articles published in TV portals and newspapers online by setting the keywords, selecting the appropriate media (TV/ newspapers) and setting the scan time as per his requirement. After the user clicks on the scan button, the application then scans the media selected using the keywords and downloads the articles with the links. The user can then click on the links to view and read the articles.

The Application will keep the articles scanned for the last seven days which the user can filter by the scan date to access the same. The user when he is using the application for the first time has to manually start the scan. After that the Application automatically scans the media as per the scan time selected and sends out regular notification to the user after each scan.

The notification will either notify the user that there are new articles or in case of no new articles, the user will be notified there are no new articles.
