Moving is healthy. Everyone agrees. But fitness is not just about physical. Mental health is also very important to feel fit. During the Groningen Marathon both are combined and we look for the fastest, the smartest and the fittest person.

During the Groningen Marathon you run on a virtual route from Groningen to Uithuizermeeden. While you are running or running in your own environment, the app keeps track of your steps and moves forward on the virtual route. Along the way you pass through transit places, such as Bedum, Winsum and Uithuizen. In each place of transit you will be asked a question that relates to this place and / or top sport in Groningen. The intention is to take as many steps as possible within the specified period and to answer questions correctly.
