The Total MFA app is required to use the Totaldesk online workplace. Total MFA is a replacement for the Microsoft Authenticator app, which from October 1, 2024 can only be used by users with an Entra AD account. Many Totaldesk users do not have that option, which is why Totaldesk has developed an app that will take over multi-factor authentication.
