The application does not replace treatment by the physiotherapist, but can be a useful supplement that both structures and supports lung disease in their own treatment. It will require guidance of both lung physiotherapy as a subject and of the application's functionality to succeed with the tool.

For you as a lung patient:
In the app you will find visualized breathing techniques presented using 3D animations. It makes your self-treatment more structured and motivating. In order to optimize your own treatment, we always recommend that you contact your physiotherapist before you start using the tool. This way you can together choose the most gentle and effective exercises for you.

For you who are a physiotherapist:
This app will make it easier to follow up your patients with a tailored treatment plan for the individual, and provide good continuity in the treatment. By using "Breathe better" to guide patients, the quality of treatment will increase, and it will be easier for the patient to follow up on the recommendations you give. This app will also be a good professional support for you as a physiotherapist, and secure you in the dissemination of lung physiotherapy to your patients.

Functionality: The application is divided into 3 main functions.

1) "Settings" - function where you can set up the gender of the breathing model, whether the language should be adapted to patients or physiotherapists and possibly set up alerts when needed.

2) "Admin console" where the physiotherapists can choose which breathing techniques the patient should have available as well as the opportunity to tailor how each individual breathing technique should be performed.

3) «User console» where the layout with the special adaptations that the physiotherapist has made for the patient becomes available to the patient in the self-treatment. This page consists of MY TREATMENT with recommended breathing techniques and MY PAGE with the possibility to register the usefulness of the exercises. Information about this is stored in the application on your phone.
