Emergency paramedics allow emergency paramedics from voluntary organizations to make themselves available to the emergency medical communication center (AMK) for a given period of time. Login is done with BankID, and you must bring both an emergency network radio and an emergency aid bag to register available.

When you are on duty, your position is sent to AMK and is visible to the operators if an emergency situation arises. If you are closer than the nearest ambulance, you can receive notification of assignments so that you can perform life-saving first aid until the ambulance arrives.
