With this app you can experience three of Alf Prøysens children's songs and three of his stories in Norwegian Sign Language.
Songs and storytelling have subtitles. The text is turned on / off with the default button at the bottom right in the player.

The sign language performances have soundtracks with songs and music. There are two settings for song and music:

1) Song and Music
2) Song without music

The bilingual presentation of the songs allows for shared experiences across languages.

stories:
"Carpenter Andersen and Santa Claus" performed in sign language by Kevin Eide Edvardsen, a Norwegian tale of Svein Erik Brodal, Lydbokforlaget.no.

"Teskjekjerringa on Christmas shopping" performed in sign language by Unni Helland, with Norwegian speech by Hege Bakken.

"The schoolmaster and mosquitoes" performed the gesture of Gøril Grindhaug, with Kjersti Fjeldstad as voice actor.

The target group is children aged 6-10 years, but Prøysen fits well within reason for all ages.
