Mama Aroha Breastfeeding Basics is designed to be visual and informative making it an easy to follow tool while learning the art of breastfeeding. This basic version aligns with The New Zealand Breastfeeding Alliance (NZBA) Baby Friendly principles and provides mothers with the essential information and principles to better understand breastfeeding. They say a picture paints a thousand words, so you will find the images do all the talking. This application puts evidence-based information into a format that is user-friendly and simple to understand. It is designed to be used by both mothers and families but also for Health professionals working with breastfeeding mothers to use as a visual tool. The content of this application has been approved by the New Zealand Ministry of Health and is also endorsed by NZBA. Created by Amy Wray , a board-certified Lactation Consultant and author whose breastfeeding resources are used worldwide by parents and professionals.
