Mobile App Oil Palm Crop Doctor is an interactive application that transmits information easily and correctly to palm growers and alcoholics. It is for farmers or users i. C. A. R-IIOPR allows you to send queries and receive necessary information.
This application has four modules, namely: 1) Insects, Diseases and Disorders 2) Fertilizer Calculations 3) Inquiry 4) Crop Videos. This app has a side menu that displays Home, Oil Palm Crop Doctor, Contact Us, and Log Out options. After completing the registration, the Launching Screen appears and then the Dashboard appears, including Insects, Diseases and Disorders; Fertilizer calculation; Displays four choices - trial and crop videos. Module on Insects, Diseases and Disorders Palm crop shows pictures of insects, diseases. Information on specific insect, disease and scarcity symptoms and control measures is displayed on the selection of a particular image. The option to watch a video clip is also available if you click on video.
The Fertilizer Calculation Module shows the amount of fertilizer to be laid on the basis of selected fertilizers. The amount of fertilizer per plant, or per acre or even per hectare of fertilizer. It also displays the total amount of fertilizer for the entire area.
Inquiry can be sent to ICAR-IIOPR in the form of message and recording along with image and video. The IIOPR answers these questions. This app also allows you to chat.
Short video clips are also provided to view recommended practices in palm cultivation.
Internet registration is required at the time of app registration and inquiry. Other activities of the op also work offline.
