This free application allows you to discover the collections of the Sainte-Croix de Poitiers Museum in a different way. Tablet or phone in hand, the visitor - young or old - becomes an actor in an interactive museum experience.
This new digital mediation tool, a fun pocket guide, takes the visitor on a tactile tour, complementary to the “physical” confrontation with the works of the permanent collections.
Designed by the teams of the Sainte-Croix Museum in partnership with students and teachers from the University of La Rochelle and with the support of the DRAC Nouvelle-Aquitaine, this application offers an intuitive menu very easy to use, within the reach of all. From the menu, the visitor navigates on different tabs. A map of the museum showing 22 emblematic works allows you to find your way around the maze of rooms, in association with iBeacons, sensors using Bluetooth technology.
Multimedia contents are so many windows open on a painting, a sculpture, an artist. They combine texts, images and sounds, with the possibility of zooming in on a detail, sharing a crush, a work on social networks or even following the museum's news.
A game included in the course, The mysteries of Sainte-Croix, allows you to discover 6 works by taking up challenges accessible to children and adults.
