MISSION

Community of Volunteers (COV) promotes social awareness, public goodwill and volunteerism by connecting amazing people across America with their local nonprofit organizations.

As the nonprofit sector is undeniably growing, most of these organizations are working together for the better; unfortunately there will always be a few that will repeatedly run into accountability issues.

Knowledge is Power!

We believe in the importance of social media and its role in building social awareness.

By allowing our users to post their ratings and share their experiences about working with various nonprofits and/or current news on their social networking sites, our goal is 5 folds:

1. To promote volunteerism amongst our peers;
2. To allow other volunteers to make informative decisions on the nonprofit they choose to work with;
3. To allow nonprofits to stay informed on the positive and/or negative experiences of volunteers;
4. To promote outstanding nonprofits;
5. To expose nonprofits that repeatedly run into accountability issues;
