COSCUP is an annual seminar jointly promoted by Taiwan's open source community. It originated in 2006 and is one of the important promoters of Taiwan's Free Software Movement (FOSSM). Activities include lectures, booths, community gatherings, etc. In addition to inviting international heavyweight speakers, Taiwanese local free software promoters also often give speeches here.
