The Gender Equality Network (GEN) is diverse and inclusive network of more than 100 civil society organizations, national and international NGOs and Tecnical Resource Persons working to bring about gender equality and the fulfilment of women’s rights in Myanmar. GEN produced and dissiminate variety of resources based on GEN’s reserch findings in order to support evidence-based advocacy to government, and to raise awareness in general public. GEN mobile app is one of the dissemination channel of GEN resources to accessible easily.

The Gender Equality Network (GEN)သည် အရပ်ဖက်လူမှုအဖွဲ့အစည်းများ၊ နိုင်ငံတကာ အစိုးရမဟုတ်သော အဖွဲ့အစည်းများနှင့် ကျွမ်းကျင်ပညာရှင်များ ပါဝင်သော အဖွဲ့ဝင် ၁၀၀ကျော်ဖြင့် ဖွဲ့စည်းထားသော ကွန်ရက်တစ်ခုဖြစ်ပါသည်။ GEN ကွန်ရက်သည် မတူကွဲပြားသော အဖွဲ့ဝင်များ၏ စုစည်းမှုဖြင့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတွင် ဂျဲန်ဒါ တန်းတူညိမျှမှု ရှိစေရေးနှင့် အမျိုးသမီးများ၏အခွင့်အရေး အပြည့်အဝရရှိစေရန် ပူးပေါင်းလုပ်ဆောင်နေပါသည်။ GEN မှ အစိုးရ၏ မူဝါဒများ ပြုပြင်ပြောင်းလဲစေရန် Advocacy လုပ်ဆောင်ရာတွင် ထိရောက်မှုရှိစေရန် နှင့် ပြည်သူများကြား အသိပညာမြှင့်တင်ရန် ဂျဲန်ဒါဆိုင်ရာ Resources များကို ပုံစံအမျိုးမျိုးဖြင့် ပြုစုထုတ်ဝေဖြန့်ချီလျက်ရှိပါသည်။ ယခု Mobile App သည်လည်း ယင်းဂျဲန်ဒါဆိုင်ရာ Resources များကို ပိုမိုလွယ်ကူစွာ ရယူနိုင်ရန် ရည်ရွယ်ပြုလုပ်ခြင်းဖြစ်ပါသည်။
