It allows passengers to find accurate information on travel and testing requirements for their journey. Authorised labs and test centres can then send the results to each passenger in a verifiable, safe and private way.

IATA Travel Pass is based on 'Self-sovereign identity', giving the passenger complete control over their data. It gives each passenger a digital wallet to store all of their travel documentation - including biometric passports - and choose who to share it with.
