The Tikar Dictionary app is intended for those who would like to look up Tikar words to find the French equivalent, or to find the Tikar word via a French gloss.

The Tikar language*, classified as Niger-Congo, Atlantic-Congo, Volta-Congo, Benue-Congo, Bantoid, Southern, Tikar. It is spoken in the following areas of Cameroon: Adamawa region: Mayo-Banyo division, Bankim subdivision; Centre region: Mbam-and-Kim division, Ngambe-Tikar subdivision, scattered over northwest Yoko and northeast of Foumban; North West region: Donga-Mantung division, small border area; West region: Noun division, Magba subdivision.
