This application, "Lope tanco binakti Bidiya" (in French, 'Sac de la parole bidiya') is a dictionary and linguistic research tool for the Bidiya language of Central Chad. It provides an alphabetical list of words in Bidiya. Just click on a word to get details, including grammatical category, French definition and illustrative sentences. An alphabetical index, in which French definitions refer to bidiya words, is also provided. The application contains a powerful search tool. Click the search icon, enter the word or part of the word (make sure to uncheck the “Whole Words” option) you want to find. The application will display all occurrences of this word in the entire database, whether in entries, definitions and illustrative sentences, in Bidiya or in French.
