What is the Hadith of Kesa?
The hadith of Kisa is a hadith on the virtues of the Prophet (PBUH), Ali (AS), Fatima (AS), Hassan (AS) and Hussein (AS). The event of the hadith of Kisa took place in my house, Salma, the wife of the Prophet. When the verse of purification was revealed, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) covered himself and his family with a woolen cloth. Shiite Imams have cited this hadith to prove their virtue and superiority in taking over the Muslim caliphate. The text of the hadith, which is mentioned in some keys as the hadith of Kesa, is in different parts from the hadith that has been quoted in ancient Shiite and Sunni sources.

Explanation of the story of the hadith of Kesa
None of the hadiths that have been narrated about the event of Kasa have been fully narrated and each of them refers to a part of it. What follows is the use of all the narrations for a complete picture of the event.
The Prophet of Islam (PBUH) is supposed to receive an important message from God about some of his relatives in the house of his wife, Umm Salma. Therefore, he insists on his wife not to allow anyone to enter. On the other hand, on the same day, Fatima (PBUH), the daughter of the Prophet (PBUH), decides to prepare a suitable food for her father called Asideh (Kachi). He prepares this food in a small stone cauldron and puts it on a plate and brings it to his father. "I could not prevent Fatima from entering," says Salma. The Prophet (PBUH) said to his daughter: "Go and bring your wife and two children." Fatemeh (PBUH) returned home immediately and entered her father's house with her husband and two children, who were young at the time. Umm Salma got up at the suggestion of the Messenger of God (PBUH) and prayed beside him.
The Messenger of God (PBUH) sat with Ali (AS) and Fatima (AS) and his two children Hassan (AS) and Hussein (AS) at Fatima's table. The Prophet (PBUH) wears a Khyber cloth (a cloak made of the people of the Khyber region) on his son-in-law, daughter and children, and points to the sky with his right hand and says: God! These are my Ahl al-Bayt (AS). So remove any filth from them and cleanse them completely!
Then Jibreel Amin came down and recited the verse of purification: نِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ لِيُذْهِبَ عَنكُمُ الرِّجْسَ أَهْلَ الْبَيْت أَر شماب ازد﴿٣٣﴾ آل Turns.) [Parties-33]
Umm Salma came forward and lifted the corner of Kesa, but the Prophet (PBUH) took Kesa from her hand and prevented her from entering the Ahl al-Bayt (AS). Umm Salma said: Am I not among the Ahl al-Bayt? The Prophet (PBUH) said: You are on the path of goodness and virtue, you are one of the wives of the Prophet of God.

The location of this incident
Allama Hali says: The revelation of the verse of purification in my house, Salma, is one of the matters on which the Muslim Ummah has a consensus and has been narrated repeatedly from the Imams (AS) and many companions.
The revelation of the verse of purification and the event of Kesa is undoubtedly located in the house of Umm Salma. Ibn Hajar says that this verse was revealed in my house Salma. The companions of the hadith have narrated that Umar was asked about this verse and he said: "Ask Aisha about it" and Aisha replied: This verse was revealed in the house of my sister Umm Salma. So ask him about it, for he knows more about this verse than I do.
Suyuti quotes Ibn Marduyah in "Durr al-Manthur" that Umm Salma said: The verse "Enma yarid Allah ..." was revealed in my house.

سد حدیث کساء
This event does not accept any damage from the point of view of the document. The great narrators have quoted it in their authoritative books. This hadith is so-called beneficial, and even with extensive research, it can be claimed to be frequent. This event became so famous in the Islamic society that the day of its occurrence was called Kasa and the five Khamsehs who were subjected to special divine care on that day were nicknamed the companions of Kasa.
