- CHAMP built off an open sourced mobile app (Medic Mobile) designed to transform the health status of the ultra-poor communities by empowering the Community Health Champions (CHC) with contact databases, easy to use counseling tools, and decision-making guides that help them bridge the gap between the household members in the community and the local health system.
- CHAMP provides the Community Health Champions with a collection of health intervention program flow that generates specific tasks for the CHCs for screening and follow-up visits in Pregnancy, Family Planning, Community Management of Acute Malnutrition in Infants (CMAMI), Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses (IMCI), and Pulmonary Tuberculosis.
- Community Health Champions are able to securely register community household members and keep track of health intervention from home visitation, health screening, referral to a local health facility, and follow-up until the health status improves. It has added features of generating the Community Health Champion’s daily tasks, assisting productivity, and keeping records of contact databases.
- CHAMP is ideal for use in the field even without internet access.
