Works and blessings of Surah
1) Security
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: There is a surah in the Book of Allaah which has thirty verses and whoever recites it before going to sleep, Allaah will write thirty good deeds for him and remove thirty sins from him and a degree on his prayers. He adds that an angel from the angels of God will be sent to spread his wings over him and keep him from any evil and calamity so that he wakes up, and this surah will be disputed by its owner on the Day of Judgment.
Imam Sadegh (as) also said in this regard: Whoever recites Surah Al-Malik in his obligatory prayer or before reciting it, he will be in God's safety until morning to enter Paradise.
2) Intercession and forgiveness
The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said: There is a surah in the Qur'an that has thirty verses and the person who recites it intercedes for him to be forgiven, and that surah is Malik.
They have also said: Whoever recites Surah Al-Malik will be saved from the torment of the grave and will be rewarded like the one who revived the Night of Power, and whoever memorizes this Surah. Anis and Mons will be in the grave and will keep him in the grave from any incident and torment. He will bring him closer to God until he enters Paradise while he is safe from the terror of the grave.
3) Forgiveness for the dead
Reciting the Qur'an and giving its reward to the past will remove their troubles in the hereafter and forgive them. The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said in this regard: Whoever recites Surah Al-Malik and gives it as a gift to his slaves who are in the past, the reward will reach them with lightning speed and the punishment for their sins will be reduced. Anas goes to his grave.
It has also been narrated from Hazrat Sadegh (as): Whoever recites Surah Malik for a dead person will be relieved of the torment in which he is, and if the reciter gives a gift to the dead, his reward will reach them with lightning speed.
4) Toothache
The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said: Whoever has a toothache, put his finger on the toothache and recite the verse "23 of Surah Malik" seven times.
