The SCM Project funded by Global Fund in India for HIV and TB provides specialized technical assistance to National Aids Control Organization (NACO) Central TB Division (CTD), Govt. of India to strengthen the supply chain system across the country for HIV/ AIDS and TB drugs. The overall goal of the project is to improve the delivery of ARV drugs, TB drugs, diagnostics and other commodities through agile, responsive and effective supply chain.
The Project is led by Plan International (India Chapter) which is the Principle Recipient (PR) for the HIV and TB grant under the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM) for India to support NACO’s response to AIDS Epidemic to achieve the set target of 95-95-95 and CTD towards TB elimination by 2025.
The SCM Project works to ensure uninterrupted supplies of HIV/AIDS and TB commodities to save lives and to create a healthier future for all. The project directly supports on two components of NACO and CTD which is important to the NACO, CTD and Global Fund. The project provides 3PL services
and technical assistance to support the development of agile, robust and sustainable health supply chains across the country.
