The GSRI Bekasi Congregation is an independent church under the auspices of the GSRI Synod, located in Bekasi City, West Java. GSRI Bekasi was established in 1992 as the Gospel Post (PI) of the GSRI Kebayoran Baru Congregation. Its purpose was to provide services to the GSRI Kebayoran Baru congregation residing in Bekasi and to reach new believers. This PI Post officially became an independent church (GSRI Bekasi) on January 1, 1999, and services were held at the Department of Social Affairs chapel on Jl. HM. Joyo Martono, Bekasi. At that time, the space was shared with six other churches that also rented the space.
Praise God, the GSRI Bekasi Congregation acquired two 3.5-story shophouses located in the Grand Center Shophouse Complex, Block A 24-25, Bekasi, in 2001. These were later renovated as a church building and used as a service center. In 2009, GSRI Bekasi purchased a vacant plot of land in the Bekasi Grand Center Shophouse Complex, Block F1, and applied for a permit to build a place of worship there.
The church building was officially opened on July 31, 2010, and is now used as a public worship center. The existing building in Blocks A24-25 serves as a Sunday School worship center, prayer meetings for youth, teenagers, and women, and the GSRI Bekasi Secretariat Office.
This application facilitates administration and church service activities, serving as a source of fast and accurate information regarding service schedules, Sunday sermon recordings, activity documentation, and more. It also facilitates monitoring of data, assets, and the growth of the GSRI Bekasi congregation.
