This is a preliminary, trial edition of a dictionary for the Gullah language. Also known as Sea Island Creole, Gullah is spoken by members of the Gullah Geechee community who live along the southeastern coast of the United States, mainly in South Carolina and Georgia, but also some in North Carolina and Florida. A more complete dictionary will follow.
