The mechanics are simple. For the MCQ, these are as follows:

1. Teachers, tutors, parents or anyone who has the questions could
type their questions and list of answers. This is done either by
keying in on the blank space inside each of the boxes or if you
already have them typed from another file, you can simply do cut
and paste.

2. Once the above is completed, you will need to answer your own
questions. The answers will serve as the basis for the MCQ
program (i.e. considered them as the right answers) in checking
against the student answers. Student scores will be obtained
immediately upon completion of the MCQ test which also
indicates which questions they have answered incorrectly.

3. Students have the chance to review their answers and could
make changes to some or all of the questions prior to final
submission.

4. Teachers are given two (2) hours to occupy the room. Student
examinations including the downloading of student scores by
the teachers have to be completed within the 2 hours. All the
data (e.g. teacher's questions, student scores, etc.) will be
removed from the system as soon as the 2-hour duration
expires. This is to allow for other teachers or users to occupy
the same room.

5. Students are given one (1) hour for the duration of the
examination. There is a timer in every question and a
notification will appear at the end of the one hour duration. The
exam results will be sent automatically to the teacher regardless
whether the exam is completed or not.

6. In the end, the teacher will have the scores of each student
available for access. Only the teacher who sends out the exam
has access on the exam results. Option for printing the student
scores is available.

7. Further, the questions including the choices, correct answers,
student names as well as the scores will be available for viewing
and printing by the teacher.

8. You can verify your MCQ by logging in as a student and
attempting to answer it.

For the ESSAY, it is a lot simpler.

1. Teachers, tutors, parents or anyone who has the questions will
key in their ESSAY question. This is done either by typing on the
blank space inside the box or if you already have them typed
from another file, you can simply do cut and paste.

2. Students could write their composition at the blank space
inside the box.

3. Students are given one (1) hour to answer the essay question.
The program will initiate the e-mail transmission to the teacher
when the one hour time allotment is reached.

4. The answer will be sent to the teacher via e-mail upon pressing
of the SEND button by the students.
