More secure, no personal data
This app stores its data in a local database on your device. It does not connect to the Internet except for user-controlled exporting of data and reports. You can use the app in areas without wireless coverage for data entry and reporting. No personal information is entered.

BudgetTrak - more detail :-

Set up budget items. Select from a pre-supplied list or enter new ones. Select whether to include a budget item in the account balance calculation

Enter an amount equal to your bank account balance (optional feature) any time and track the balance as you spend (for example, update it at the beginning of each month and/or whenever there is a deposit into your account). If you will use this feature, enter the amount before you add any expense entries.

Enter individual transactions (date, amount, optional comment) against a budget item each time you spend or an automatic payment is processed. The Date field uses current date as default.

Minimum typing – only for the Amount and Comment fields. Use the Comment field for a purchase note; this is an auto-complete field.

View reports - monthly (summary and detail), daily detail, annual by budget item, and annual by month reports. Where applicable, charts are included in the report to make month-to-month comparisons easy. Monthly or annual expenditures exceeding the specified budget are highlighted in red.

Create .PDF files from these reports and export them. Note that this feature is available only on devices having KitKat version 4.4 OS or higher.

Export the expenses data you entered as a text (.CSV) file (for use in a spreadsheet if desired).

Purging the database of older data periodically if space on your device becomes a problem.

Do not enter ATM withdrawals, or credit card bill payments as an expense; rather you should be entering the actual purchase or payment data that the cash or credit card payment was used for.

BudgetTrak does not include :-
A PDF viewer (simply re-generate a report to view it)
Any connection to your bank
In-app advertisements or sales (except upgrade to unlimited entries)


NOTE - in-app upgrade
The app is free to download and use with full functionality for assessment. After forty (40) expense (not budget) entries (typically 1-2 months usage), the user is required to unlock the unlimited number of entries feature by paying Can $1.99. No new download is required, and any data you entered is maintained. If the user chooses not to pay, they can still use the app, but cannot add new entries.
