It is an application for cell phones and tablets (Android Operating System) for children from 3 to 5 years old to learn through images and sounds the basic contents about the alphabet, numbers, family, colors, parts of the human body, animals, fruits and basic expressions in the Kukama language.

This app is aimed at serving as instruments to strengthen and promote linguistic revitalization processes that arise with new generations.

The Kukama Kukamiria people live in the department of Loreto, on the Marañón, Ucayali, Huallaga, Nanay and Itaya rivers.

The case of the Kukama Kukamiria people is particular, since due to the processes of contact with national society, many Kukama residents have hidden their origins and today it is difficult to know the real number of the population that lives in cities such as Nauta, Iquitos, Yurimaguas or Requena. It is very likely that the Kukama are descendants of peoples such as the Omagua or others with Tupi roots, who, due to demographic pressure, abandoned the central area of Brazil to settle throughout the floodplains of the lower Amazon. One of the characteristics mentioned in the first writings of the chroniclers was the ability of this town to adapt to flood-prone ecosystems. Their ability to negotiate with foreign visitors, together with their knowledge of the rivers and their dynamics, favored joint work with visitors, forming, in many cases, part of the joint strike forces against other neighboring towns. This capacity for dialogue and adaptation allowed them to enter into trade and exchange forest products for metal objects, shotguns, machetes, etc. The rapid assimilation to the new reality was one of the causes that shortly after caused the rejection of identification as a people, for fear of being marginalized and excluded from the commercial and economic processes that were beginning incipiently in the Amazonian cities. The Kukama Kukamiria language belongs to the Tupi linguistic family.
