Sigil Automaton will design sigils and mantras from your intent.

The sigil will be constructed from various fonts and symbols. Some will be simple, some much more complex. The sigil can be regenerated multiple times, and can be rearranged by dragging the components into a more pleasing formation.

The mantra can also be regenerated multiple times, or you can simply type in your own custom mantra.

The screenshot button captures the image (intent, sigil and mantra) in a clean black and white image for ease of printing. You can toggle the appearance of the intent and mantra in the screen capture.

Since Version 2.0, you now have the option to customize individual glyphs for each character, or get the app to generate the entire sigil for you. Whichever method you use, you can always cutomize the resulting sigil.

Here are the basics of sigil construction (as done 'by hand').

Here is what you do:

Write out your desire/goal.
Cross out all the vowels.
Cross out all the repeated letters.
Create a glyph based on the remaining letters.
Modify this glyph until it starts to look more pleasing.
* These steps are performed by the Application itself.


Some recommendations on 'intent':

Use positive words rather than negative words.
Have fixed or clear goals.
Use the present tense.
Describe the ‘completed’ situation rather than the desire to get there.

Tips:
* In custom mode, using many characters can clutter the result. You don't need to assign glyphs to all characters, some can be blank, or delete some of them when constructing the sigil.
* Personally, I like to create the sigil then screen capture the sigil and mantra only (without the original intent) for later use.
