PEN @ Katolik was born from the concern of the Preacher Order to participate in proclaiming through online media various events and concerns as well as the joy and development of the Catholic Church in Indonesia and the world.

PEN @ Catholic is run by Indonesian Dominicans (Priests, Sisters, and Dominicans) through the Jakarta-based Saint Martinus de Porres Foundation. The journalists are currently in several dioceses in Indonesia. They always update news in the fields of Church, Social, International, Vatican, Archipelago, OMK, and Pluralism, as well as make or present Reflections, Opinions, and Interviews.
