The Traffic system allows you to optimize the activities of transport fleets. The dispatcher is able to manage a fleet of vehicles, their types (with predefined parameters such as capacity, maximum load, fixed cost or variable cost), destinations and transport orders. Based on the built database, it is able to automatically generate routes for all vehicles, taking into account orders from a selected day.
In the mobile application, drivers have access to all routes planned for a specific day. They can start, finish and mark subsequent customers on a given route. If a delivery fails, they have the option to skip customers and add notes. Optionally, drivers can assess their own well-being and the condition of the vehicle. The dispatcher has insight into the status of the fleet and drivers and can react on an ongoing basis in the management process. The optimization algorithm tries to distribute tasks evenly among designated drivers, taking into account time, fuel burned or the total route distance. The system administrator has access to a number of parameter settings for both the algorithm and the application itself, which allows it to dynamically adapt its operation to specific cases in various optimization problems.
