Search for Art – Discover contemporary art again!

The free "Search for Art" application is an innovative combination of education, technology and passion for art. Created for lovers of contemporary art, it allows you to get to know 40 selected objects such as sculptures, murals, neon signs and artistic installations (existing and no longer existing). Using a virtual map with object markers, you can look for objects, many of which do not exist in the general awareness of residents.
The application combines education with modern technologies, inspiring you to discover contemporary art. Thanks to it, you can get to know selected 40 objects related to the CSWZU collections on the website: mediateka.u-jazdowski.pl. It allows you to get to know objects (sculpture, mural, neon, artistic installation, etc.) in broader context and exploration of the digital archive's collections. U–jazdowski's digital archive enables a virtual journey in time, a review of fantastic audio-video recordings, recordings of performances, concerts, archival recordings of festivals, and finally a number of documentary photographs of exhibitions and accompanying documents and posters. The media library is an information center and a source of multimedia documentation, and is a place for collecting memories about contemporary art. We treat knowledge about contemporary art as an element of individual and social development. The center of our research interests is man in correlation with art, and our activities focus on learning, developing and disseminating knowledge. We inspire people and support people in expanding their knowledge of art. Thanks to redirection to the portal, application users can continue surfing the website and gain knowledge about contemporary art.

The project, thanks to its visual layer, functionality and location correlated with Google map, is also intended to be a tourist attraction. The project is dedicated to various groups of recipients, both young and regular recipients of cultural institutions and tourists. Using new digital technologies, it is intended to inspire and encourage people to expand their knowledge and visit both the portal: mediateka.u-jazdowski.pl and the Ujazdowski Castle Center for Contemporary Art.

The project will be developed - we plan to enrich the application with new objects and functionalities to delight and engage users even more.
