The municipality of Tabuaço is located north of the district of Viseu and is part of the Alto Douro Wine Region, a World Heritage Site, classified by UNESCO.
It consists of 13 parishes, in a territorial area of 142 km2 and around 5,100 inhabitants.
Tabuaço is a balcony between mountains and rivers, where nature is dazzled and enchanted and one sets off to discover a territory where two small worlds meet that nature, the work of men weathered by the summer sun and history have brought together, and from where nectars blessed by the gods flow.
