The mobile application is a promotional element of the ACTIVE REST CENTER project. This project, focused on the development of tourist infrastructure in Lesser Poland, is a response to the need to increase the use and access to the cultural and natural heritage of the region for residents and tourists, by implementing innovative products and solutions in tourism.

The application presents running and cycling routes built as part of the ACTIVE LEISURE CENTER project, as well as other running and cycling routes and tourist routes in operation and emerging in Małopolska. The calendar of events, primarily sports and recreational events taking place in Lesser Poland, aims to increase the participation of the region's inhabitants and tourists in these events - constituting in themselves an attractive tourist offer, as well as active exploration of attractions (architectural and cultural monuments, educational parks, sports infrastructure -recreational) of the region.

The application also has functionalities such as activity / leisure planner, maps showing interesting places for tourists and nature along with the route and routes (photos, descriptions), user's geolocation, information and interesting facts about the region.

The application provides easy access to the local offer of Małopolska organizations, institutions and private entities, as well as available attractions. Thanks to the use of new technologies, it will be possible to achieve economies of scale - a greater number of inhabitants of Lesser Poland and tourists visiting the region using the rich sports and tourist resources of the region.

Using the application favors the competitiveness of tourism and builds a new value for residents and tourists by offering a broad and attractive information package on tourist services, economic and social growth of the region and improving the quality of life of residents and tourists.
