The INFOMama application is the only mobile application in Romania for supporting health during pregnancy by informing pregnant women with the help of a personalized notification system. It is created by Save the Children Romania specialists, with the support of neonatologists, pediatricians, gynecologists and psychologists.
The INFOMama app is intended for pregnant women, mothers and health professionals alike and provides a wide range of information on:
- Mandatory tests, ultrasounds and consultations during pregnancy
- The rights of the salaried, unemployed or minor pregnant woman
- Nutrition during pregnancy
- Psychological health during pregnancy
- Care of term newborns and care of premature newborns
- The importance of vaccination
- The importance of breastfeeding
- Giving first aid to the newborn
The tools provided help expectant mothers to plan as well as possible the birth of their little ones.
